Just a few weeks away from DubFreeze 2009, we were approached by Paul Cullen who asked if Brad's Cancer Foundation could be one of the beneficiaries of the DubFreeze charity auction. It took us by suprise! Not because it wasn't a good cause, for it certainly was (and still is), but because Paul's message reached us so late in the day and we'd already agreed to help out other charities. We could hear his disappointment.
Now, with the advent of BusFreeze, we are able to help out where we can and hope you all can do the same on the day by bidding high to assist this very worthwhile cause.
Brad's Cancer Foundation

Donations to Brad's helps out by:
Providing equipment for the care and lifestyle specifically for teenagers with cancer in the East Midlands.
Supporting the development of a Teenage Cancer Unit, through the Teenage Cancer Trust.
To provide help and support to teenagers with cancer and their families to relieve the stress and hardship during a difficult time.
Calling the Maestro
Paul Mcgunigall has agreed, once again (the bloke deserves an Oscar), to oversee the November auction proceedings. We're sure he'll furnish us with a whole list of names who will make up the charity auction team quite soon, but first on the list is Angelo Amato. You do know about this, don't you Angelo? BTW - congratulations on getting the Fasty into Volksworld. Great work and well deserved!

We have a working Scalextric set for the kids to 'have a go' at the auction venue - and it's something you can win by buying a raffle ticket for just 50p. All raffle proceeds are added to the auction total and then passed on to Brad's Cancer Foundation. The auction and working cars will be up on the balcony in position BA. The auction begins at 1pm.
